14. Alcohol

Consuming alcohol in the morning—even in small amounts—is highly harmful. Alcohol irritates the stomach lining and, when consumed on an empty stomach, is absorbed rapidly into the bloodstream. This can cause nausea, dizziness, dehydration, and sharp drops in blood sugar. Alcohol also interferes with liver function, which plays a key role in regulating glucose levels in the morning. Drinking alcohol early disrupts mental clarity, slows metabolism, and negatively impacts hydration levels for the rest of the day. Over time, this habit can damage digestion, hormone balance, and overall energy levels.
